Problem

Cataloguing a card collection normally means typing in every card, searching the marketplace, copying the price across. A few hundred cards in, people stop.

Solution

Upload a photo, done. Tesseract.js reads the card name via OCR, Sharp prepares the images beforehand, the Cardmarket API returns the current price. Frontend in React 18 with Vite, backend in Node and Express, deployed on Vercel and Railway.

Result

A photo becomes a record in the collection, exportable as CSV. Full-stack work from image processing to deployment – and a pattern that transfers to any kind of receipt or label capture.
